Have you missed us? A message from Willoughby and Wolf

We have certainly missed you, and can’t wait to see you again!

After a few days of digesting the news that non essential shops can open again from 15th June, we have decided not to open at this point…GASP…we are NOT a non essential shop…GASP (again)… we are boutique that offers a luxury bridal experience one that is full of laughter and fun.

We don’t just want to throw our doors open and offer a paired back appointment with temperature checks and everyone head to toe in PPE. After all you are buying the most important dress you are ever going to wear, you are not going to a clinic for a check up.

So instead we have decided to wait just a few more weeks until 4th July and take a more careful and considered approach.

The first few days of appointments are given to our current brides, those who have been waiting patiently to see their gown as it arrived during lockdown, and those whose weddings are still on and need fittings, after that our appointment diary is open to everyone! The link is in our bio to book.

We all know things have got to be different; the safety of you our beautiful customers and our staff is absolutely paramount. We will be making some changes, we will be reducing the number of appointments we can facilitate, we will need to limit how many people you bring, we will ask you to wash your hands, the jelly bean jar will have to go but the Prosecco will be staying. Most IMPORTANTLY we will ensure that your appointment is everything that you want it to be and together we will create fond everlasting memories.

In the meantime, if you have a question or query or would like to chat before booking drop us a DM or fill out the contact form on our website and we will be in touch.

Cosmos Dress By Jessica Turner Designs stocked at Willoughby and Wolf.

Hope to see you soon!

In the meantime from me, (Jess) is that I have been waiting patiently to get my studio built but as we all know the last couple of months have been on hold. I am now looking into studio designs and planning to go ahead once I find the idea that I want and the right builders! It is a slow process but things can now start moving and I hopefully will be ready to launch for January 2021. The studio will not be big, as I will only need space for a small collection, but there will be enough dresses to play with and to show different styles to brides. It will also will be full of my bridal sketches to give brides inspiration. I like to have more sketches than dresses because I like to support slow fashion and minimise the use of raw materials to help the environment.

Once the studio is set up I will be shouting about it!! The launch will take place in Willoughby and Wolf, Marlborough, Wiltshire, and my studio will be located in the village of Long Crendon, Buckinghamshire. I am doing bride to zoom consultations at the moment or you can book appointments at the boutique and they will be opening beginning of July, which is very exciting!!!

Have a lovely week.
